At the first ISART spray jam in 1996, which was the first time that graffiti had been permitted at the Brudermühl bridge, Mitch and Skiny had painted one of the walls. Mitch had left a deep impact on the community, and after his passing, this piece was carefully preserved. Although it has been crossed out several times, local graffiti artists have always restored it quickly to keep Mitch's legacy alive.
BRUDERMÜHL BRIDGE
The Brudermühlbridge is located in the south of Munich and connects the two districts of Sendling and Untergiesing. Since 1996, the bridge's pillars (covering an area of ca. 400 square metres) have been sprayed with graffiti once a year by artists as part of the ISART project with the support of Munich culture department.
"Depending on the effort involved, you need about 50 cans for one wall."
