C100's first sketches, 'Anarchy' and 'Batman', in 1989, marked the beginning of his career as an active graffiti artist. Later on, in 1999 after having just finished his graphic design studies, he got into street art and was one of the pioneers of this then still young movement in Germany.
During that time he also got introduced into the international urban art scene and worked on projects in London, Barcelona, Madrid and Milan. C100 has participated at various local and international art projects and exhibitions.

CHEECH H

www.a--s--a.de

Part of Munich's first generation of style writers, Cheech started graffiti in 1983. Even before the legendary Geltendorfer train, which he had painted with six friends in 1985, Cheech had sprayed a train previously by himself, a panel on an S-Bahn train in Herrsching in the summer of 1984, but this had no legal consequences. It also went unnoticed by the other writers, as the Deutsche Bundesbahn cleaned the train immediately and kept the matter under wraps.

Since the mid-1980s, Cheech had been documenting graffiti scene from its very beginning with his camera. Little did he know that he would be contributing significant photos to the history of Munich's graffiti.

Today Cheech works worldwide as a graffiti artist. In 2024, the book Theorie des Style- Die Befreiung des Alphabets, which he had co-authored with Don M. Zaza and Cemnoz, was published for the second time in German and for the first time in English.

His work has transitioned into more recognised forms of art, collaborating internationally and contributing to projects like Mural Global, where he worked with Brazilian artists Os Gêmeos to create murals. His art often explores themes of space, connectivity, and the influence of environments on individuals. Codeak's approach involves asking where we are located, metaphorically and physically, which he reflects in his work through complex, puzzle-like structures.
