LAW ONE
LEOPOLD KINO
Located on Leopoldstrasse in Munch's University district Schwabing, the cinema was one of the first to screen Charlie Ahearn's Wild Style in 1983. Since the screenings started at 1 p.m., skipping school to watch the movie was a very tempting option - though most of the young newcomer graffiti artists had seen the movie before, since German TV ZDF was coproducer of Wild Style, airing the movie already in April 1983, months before the cinema release.

Among Blash with who he later formed the Blash Loomit Corporation, which got known for their piece, American Dream - Horrorvision, painted next to the train tracks. Around this time, other local artists joined, forming one of Munich's famous first crews, The Force.
Without the internet around at that time, artists would exchange photos of their work. It was Loomit who, through his trips, connected with other artists early on and showed the wider world the Munich graffiti scene and its first Hall of Fame on the Dachauer flea market grounds.
